for the production of steel car rims

Print version

Automated stand for the production of steel car rims with the use of induction welding technology.

An automated stand for the production of car rims enables bonding of the edges of the rolled cylindrical steel sheet along the forming roller

Components of the stand:

  • Control cabinet
  • Induction heater
  • Turntable
  • Transporter
  • Welder
  • Slotter
  • Hydraulic aggregate

The pre-rolled cylindrical plate is fed into the turntable. After proper positioning, the sheet is taken over by the sucker of the conveyor gripper and transferred to the welder. There the hydraulic clamps position the sheet. The induction heater heats the edges of the sheet to be connected. The edges are connected with each other. The transporter moves the cylinder to the chisel, where the steel chips are cut off. Then the conveyor moves the cylinder again on the turntable, from where it is fed for further processing to another station.
